I want to share with you what I see when I walk back from work to my residence in Makati.

Ayala Avenue. Don’t try to get a taxi here at 6 p.m.

Road signs of Salcedo St. This street will lead me back to my bed.

Mercury Drug. It’s almost everywhere in this city. It was the first chain store I recognized in the Philippines as well, because there was one at the mart I went to for my first grocery shopping in the Philippines.

A fitness center. I’d love to be reborn as a gym junkie!

Salcedo St. at night. “The common road seems just like a dream. It’s a mystery to me."

Ministop. My oasis.

Something to tell: Conjugations are for verbs. Declensions are for nouns and adjectives. Inflections are for everyone.
